Doug, my wife's car had a stone chip recently. They can be repaired is they
are smaller than a quarter. It cost us about $40.00 to get it repaired.
Call a local windshield installation place and they should be able to give
you a quote for the repair.

Subject says it all. Do I have to spring for a new windshield,
or can a damaged one be saved? It's not a very big chip, and
there aren't any cracks radiating from it (yet).

thanks!
