It WAS on eBay before (auction ended 12/2/00), but it didn't meet reserve
and didn't sell. It did get bid up to $17,100 with at least five different
people bidding $15,000 or more.

I wonder how many of them had looked at the car or knew exactly what it is
(and isn't).
