Servo Assist?

OK, all the Concours Purists tune out...:-), I read an article that 
refered to a Brake Servo Assist option/accessory for Side Screen TRs, 
if anyone has any further information, particularly as it relates to 
a 1957 TR-3, I would appreciate it.
