Do not forget the many other differences here are just a few.

Our cars (autos) run on petrol (gas) and have sills (rockers) below the
doors. Our rockers are in the engine along with gudgeon pins (god knows what
you call them).

Also we brake with discs (rotors).

Here is a list of others I can think of:

Exhaust manifold               (Header)
Circlip                               (Snap ring)
Hood                                (Soft top)
Bulkhead                          (Firewall)
Cam follower                    (Valve lifter)
Anti-roll bar                       (Sway bar)
Silencer                            (Muffler)
Wing                                (Fender)

There are many others of course.

Now if we are talking LBCs then should we not talk 'The talk'?
(says he tongue in cheek)
