Here's how to find Allen Pond in Bowie, MD
>From Wash DC:
Take the DC beltway, I-495 to MD Rt 50 East. Follow for several miles
and exit onto MD Rt 197, taking the south or east direction (cannot
remember which). Follow MD 197 to Northview Dr (right turn) and follow
the signs to Allen Pond.
>From Balt:
Take MD 3 south, past MD Rt 50 to the intersection with MD 197, roughly
a mile after passing Rt 50. Make a right onto MD 197 and follow to
Northview Dr (left turn) and follow the signs.
