Message text written by "steven@cravetechnology.com" >My speedo wanders -- in part, due to the 30 foot long speedo cable <g> installed by the DPO -- and I've verified that the reading is off by about 20% using convenient radar-enabled signs. After putting giant tires on my old jeep, I learned to recalculate MPH on the fly, but I was thinking that there must be a formula to convert the tach reading to MPH. < On your TR2,3,4,250, or 6 divide the tach reading by two (in fourth). In second take your tach reading direct. The other gears are more difficult. Dave |
