Lay them out flat in the sun for a little while. I treated them with scotch
guard at the same time. Worked on mine a couple years ago.

Subject: Wrinkled Carpets
Hello listers,
Over two years ago I bought a new set of carpets from TRF for the TR3. Then
Shipwrights set in and it turned into the whole frame-off thing. So now it's
finally time to unpack them and install them soon (at least in geological
terms). Needless to say, they have some pretty enormous wrinkles to them. I
thought about trying to use a cool iron to smooth them out a bit, but I'm
worried about the rubber backing. Any clues on what I might do to prepare
them for installation?
Thanks!
