To me, and maybe I am out in leftfield on this, but when a car is sited as
"showroom condition", I pretty much think of when I bought my first TR6 from
a Triumph dealer in Cleveland in 1976. Every single part on it was new,
including the oil leak I had the first week of ownership but thats another
story.

We all know that was a long time ago and triumph dealerships have long fell
by the wayside. How can a Triumph TR6 be in showroom condition? It blows my
mind that anyone would really use this term for a car that is at the least 24
years old. When we look at our various parts catalogues we always see a fair
amount of N/A next to needed parts. I know, I know, you have to keep an open
mind but I will never forget seeing my burgundy 76 TR6 on that showroom
floor, and now seeing what is termed as showroom condition, it sure lessens
my expectations on the next TR I might want to see. Just venting a little,
not directed toward anyone, just a general comment...........Virgil 75 TR6
