As a follow up to yesterdays post.
I picked up the Wagner 1449 bulbs and replaced every dash bulb last
night. Starting with the instrument cluster, then the speedometer.
Although the lights are in the sockets for then tach, the tach is not
in yet.
The 1449 is the correct size bulb as all finished components work
properly. The instrument panel is still dim, but that is by design of
having 2 lights for all gauges.
The hardest part of all this was cutting the cork to an appropriate
shape and size to fit behind the speedo. The tach is next.

me responses about this issue. Your expert advice, time, energy and
wisdom is greatly appreciated.
