On my headers (1970 GT6+) where the threes go into ones...the DPO welded the seams, but only on the side facing away from the block. So, in back the seam is open (noise, exhaust leak). He also welded the whole system (Monza exhaust). So, what would you do: #1. Cut the system somewhere (where?), remove and reweld that junction? #2. Fill the seams with that canned gunk for exhaust mends? I'm assuming the seam can't be welded on the car, right?
