This is the nub of the issue <G>. Many think the logo is defunct because the
cars have not been made since 1984. It isn't defunct because it is still
used extensively by Heritage (a wholly owned Rover subsidiary) for the
manufacture and promotion of the TR6 body and other branded Triumph
accessories of a cosmetic type. Also, that logo is allowed to be used
exclusively by upwards of 100 franchised importers and resellers of Heritage
products and in view of pending changes (as yet still under wraps with BMW
Mobile Tradition) there is every likelihood the logo is going to take an
even higher profile. Bottom line? The Triumph logo is as current as the
octogon on the MGF and very much a current trademark.
