The TR6 will need head work eventually, probably this coming winter, and a
fellow LBC owner had mentioned having the machine shop fit Teflan valve
seals, I was a bit skeptical and then today I found similar advise for
owners of Jag V12 cars.
"TEFLON VALVE STEM SEALS: Michel Carpentier says, "Teflon valve seals are
the way to go. They last forever, plus you can fit them on the exhaust
guides as well. Less blow-by, reduced crankcase pressure, no more oil leaks,
and cleaner oil to boot."
So has anyone fitted these to their TR6? Does a supplier produces these or
will my machine shop have to fabricate them?
Thanks,
