Listers,
I have what may be a stupid question: What effect will blocking off the
vacuum advance on a TR 4 engine have on the way the car runs? (my vacuum
advance died and I havn't got a replacement yet....)

Tony,
your timing will be a few to five degrees off at climbing and advanced speeds
and so engine won't run quite as well above 1500. The carb mixture will be
same as usual.
