Okay, here's one that I'm hoping somebody out there knows. I have a TR250 with a transmission number of CD 21489, and then below that 7 L 69. I want to order the clutch disk to replace, but don't want to take the transmission casing off just yet if I don't have to. My question is: can you tell by the number above if that is a Borg & Beck clutch, or a Laycock? The transmission has not been off before, so it will be as originally installed. Any comments? Thanks.
