Are you guys running Unleaded gas in your engines? I thought that these machines required lead for the lubracation of the valves. I have a 74 tr6 under reconstruction. Two years ago I rebuilt the engine, and wanted to have hardened seats put in the head. The local shop said that there was not enough room to machine a recess for hardened inserts. So nothing was done. Did I miss an opportunity? Do I need to run a lead substitute? Thanks.. Tim Hickey |
