Drew,
I picked up an "oil seal remover" from the local auto store (about $7).
This made it a lot easier to get out. It didn't exactly "pop out" - it
took some pulling and banging on the end of the handle but I would think
it's worth buying one.
As far as putting a new oil seal in - I don't have a socket big enough.
Could I just tap it in with a rubber mallet?
I'll let you know what happens.
