I've had hardened valve seats inserted in three different heads, including one from a TR4A. In each case, the shop was able to order the seats themselves. They're gonna charge you to install them anyway, so I expect you wouldn't save yourself any money by purchasing them from a place like V-B ahead of time. In 1997 I paid a shop $5.60 apiece for the seats and $12.00 apiece to install them. John Middlesworth |
