John,
I found the Compomotive webs site.  They have lots of neat wheels,
but nothing quite like the ones I have.  These appear to fall in their
"modular" line.  But instead of having 5 or 6 big spokes, these have
20 small spokes on a central disk that is held onto the outer rim with 20
hex cap bolts.  The center disk is painted/anodized in gold and the
outer rim is silvery natural metal.

I like the looks of minilites better, but these are OK.  A little gaudy
with the large gold center section....
