Patti, I'm restoring a 60 TR-3A (TS 76779) and, in the process, accumulated 3 very tired rolling chassis. I ran the trunnion onto the link, observed the fit and picked the vertical link with the best thead (disassembled the spindle if I had to) and used it. How did you find the thread to be worn .004"? Did you have engineering drawings? The trunnions are supposed to be the perishable item since they're made of brass. Bob 66 MGB GHN3L 78708 60 TR-3A TS 76779 |
