Peter,
I'm going somewhere around 80mph at that rpm. Yeah, yeah, I know I'm
not supposed to be driving that fast. But it's hard not to, especially
when I'm caravaning with a couple of TR6's.
As a matter of one point, If I hadn't swapped out the diff. (4.11) to a
later one (3.89), it would be even worse.
Because the earlier Spits had smaller engines, in order for them to have
the pep necessary in a sports car, the 4.11 rear gears were standard.
