I have had similar problems on non Triumphs, the first time the wiper linkage was corroded and was binding. Cleaning and lubrication fixed that. the second time there was a problem with the wiper parking switch on the motor itself. Is the motor stalling and blowing a fuse ? If the mechanism seems to move freely by hand you could measure the current draw and see if the motor is drawing excessive current indicating a problem with the motor itself. Hope this helps. |
