Bob, Check to be sure the movement is between the steering shaft and the column. If it is, then the bushings are worn. If the column is moving, then you need to replace the felt in the clamp that holds the steering column just behind the dash. This is the only thing that keeps the column snug. The clamp does not hold the column without the felt being in place. Good luck, Ron Harrison |
