I remember someone mentioning that one of the problems zs carbs could have
is the rubber parts failing. i presume that means the "diaphram". just
wanted to say that they will fail at a MUCH higher rate if they ever come
in contact with carb cleaner or it's vapor. as long as that doesn't happen
they seem to go a long way. in the su vs zs debate i think it is a push.
su's wear thier suction chamber sliding shafts faster than zs . zs blow
diaphrams every 5 years or so. i work on certain swedish cars that came
with both, and the zs seem to hold up better over time. su's in good shape
are easier to work with. i also just think they look cooler. how's that for
rational scientific thought? :-))
