Peter,
On the Unisyn, the part that goes over the carb throat, there should be 
a disc like thing in the middle. This should turn allowing you to adjust 
it for different cars, since a 1 liter engine may have a different air 
velocity than a 4 liter. Anyway turn this and hit the middle mark on one 
carb then move to the other and adjust the carb to give the same 
reading.
