Hi List: My TR6 has developed an intermittent gearbox lever chatter after 6 months of winter storage. Looked at the Hayes Manual and it says there's an anti-chatter spring/button affair located at the bottom end of the gearbox lever. Has anyone else experienced this chatter - which can be quite loud and annoying at times? Is the anti-chatter spring responsible - or is it something else? If it is the spring, just how far do you have to take things apart to get at it and fix it? Brian Lanoway 73 TR6 CF 6985U |
