Listers,
I recently saw a post here about the spark plug gap with a Lucas Sport
Coil. If I remember correctly, it said that by setting the gap at .035"
instead of .025", the car fired right up when cold.
I have a Lucas Sport Coil on my TR6 and with the colder weather, the car
has been starting hard when cold. After it starts, it runs great and
starts fine when warm. I just put new plugs in at .025".
Can someone confirm that I have the facts straight and recommend whether
or not I should try the wider gap?
Thanks,
Bill S.
