I do not think your problem is the internals.  My TR8 has the same problem.
 It has all new parts.  Woody Cooper seems to think it may be a hydraulic
thing that is undetectable by leaks.  I am going to rebuild both the slave
and master and will report as soon as I do.  Hang in there and be careful
shifting those trannys are expensive to rebuild.
