I have the opposite problem that most people have with a TR6. My car
seems to run too cool. With the recent cool weather, the temp. gauge
needle barely moved above the lowest mark when driving. Putting cardboard
in the grill seemed to help a little, but still not much.
I just installed a new 180o thermostat, but it had little effect. The
only way I can get the car to heat up to about halfway on the temp. gauge
is to cover the front of the radiator over with an old coat (this is while
it is idling at about 1500 rpm's in the garage).
I have a new radiator shroud, but it is not installed yet.
Anybody have experience with a cool running TR6 (it's a 1973)?
