on the subject of vanity plates.....

A fellow WSCC racer from the late 80's used to drive in from Regina - about
6 hours.  It often took him 4 or so.  His Dodge DAytona Turbo (heard of
those lately?!?)  had three little switches on the dash...  one to kill the
brake lights,  one to kill the tail lights,  and one to blow the fuses on
both circuits so that the constabulary couldn't establish their purpose.
