Subject: Reply to David Lee on Aero Screen Mounting
On my TR3 there are two pair of chrome nuts. Perhaps there is on the
TR2, as well. I made up a pair of aluminum brackets, attached the
brackets to the feet of the stanchions and then bolted them down with
the chrome nuts. I put the offset to rear...against the cockpit surround
and this clears the windshield when I replace it. And this requires no
drilling in the cowl :-)

Subject: TR2 Aeroscreens
As I am one of those sad guys that only drives my Triumph when the sun
shines,
(not easy in northern Scotland), I am considering fitting a pair of
aeroscreens in place of the windscreen. Originals are virtually
impossible to
find so I am looking at the after-market screens from Moss - Part No
700896.
Has anyone had any experience of these?
Fitting problems? in particular how do you cover up the two holes left
behind
by the removed stanchions?
All opinions gratefully received.
