Hi guys,
I am the person who drove the 250 to the VTR Regional in PA.
You know me as the one who was always working under the hood.
The problem that I found was that I lost the oil rings on the #3 cylinder.
It seems as if when the front carb needle was stuck open that raw fuel was
dumping into that cylinder. It just washed away all the oil from the cylinder.
Well that was all I could see wrong. I might as well replace all the rings with
the head and oil pan off. And also hone the cylinders. I was lucky considering
I drove the car back home and changing the #3 plug every 2 hours with a new one.
I think I will stick with gross jets now instead of the needle and seat.
Give you another report when I get done.
