My antenna is attached to the rear deck behind the driver's seat, sort of
midway between the fuel cap and the seam.  If you ever plan to use a
hardtop, some measuring is necessary to clear it - something my car's PO
didn't worry about...
Access is easy from behind the seats and the wire routes under the carpet
to the radio.
