Yes,  this is correct.  In fact I recently bought some new fuses for my TR-6
from TRF.  Genuine Lucas and imprinted was "35A  /  17A continuous".  If you
don't have the correct fuses handy, use ONLY a 15 amp slow-blow.  

I would not be suprised to find that alot of melted wiring harnesses were
caused by the owners mistakenly putting in 'regular' 35Amp slow-blow fuses
'cause the old fuses said 35Amp.......
