webbing of top sticks

Listers, what is the correct way to install webbing on the top frame 
sticks of a t/r 3-A. that is what is the corrct distance from each point 
to the next or due you just measure the pleats in the top? also how is 
the webbing correctly attached to the frames, do you loop it around the 
front bow or not? all help needed. Thanks
