Hi, In the last weeks I have seen many comments on the list
concerning TR-6 connecting rod bolts.My suggestion:if there is any
question, any at all, replace them. As a total cost of an engine
rebuild,never mind on a cost per mile basis, they represent a small
percentage of the total cost.There is a series of books written by MR
Carroll Smith and one of them is called "NUTS,BULTS,fastenersand
plumbing".It is very good and can be had from Motorbooks International.
