They are the same.
If you do a valve job, the only modification I can recommend is to
have the valve guides cut down to accept oil seals.
There are othermods, but if the engine will not get rigorous use, they
are not really worth the expense, at least in my opinion.
It is also a good idea to have the head planed to insure a flat sealing
surface.
