Pulled the cover off the gear box case. Found oily pad glued to the top...what's up with that? Also found the vent on top...what's up with that? Removed the oily pad...should it be replaced? With what? The insulation inside the tunnel cover is bags of fiberglass. It's torn up, oily and basically gross. When I replace the tunnel cover, what is the best way to insulate for sound/heat?
