hi larry, i love the farm life, but it's not much of a living. i
live/farm on 1500 acre family farm, that unfortunately hardly pays it's
way in recent years. i'm half-way betweeen KC and St. Louis, near
columbia, mo. i play keyboards and guitar in a weekend bar band. i'm
quitting soon, in fact, been doing it hard for over three years, need
more time off for my life and my job. mucho fun, tho, i'll miss it. six
months in a row with one weekend off isn't uncommon.

i'm not too much a fan of vicky brit, i can get stuff the next
day w/regular UPS, but my datsun experiences have been less than
wonderful with them. they are really Long Motors, a longtime Chevy pickup
truck place, and have a half a dozen catalogs of "other" cars. many many
wrong things shipped, no one knows much about anything. but they do
cheerfully refund/swap.
what do you call 50 banjo players at the bottom of the ocean?
a good start. (it's a joke, i couldn't resist, even tho i'm a fan of
john hartford, flat/scruggs)
