Spit rear ends

Hi All,
 Recently, a young lad in the Southeast, Nort or South Carolina I 
believe, had communicated with me about Spitfire rear ends. 
 We ran through the gammut of possibilities and he was able to locate 
someone in Georgia who sold rear ends, maybe trannies also.
 Question: Did you find the rear end you needed for $100. and, was it 
what was promised?
 Secondly, If so, please contact me asap. A friend no longer on the list 
from San Antonio is in need.
