Bruce, You don't need an electrical system to start a TR-2/3, you just wire the battery to the starter solenoid on one side and ground on the other. (Disconnect all the other wires from the starter solenoid just in case.) Run a jumper to the coil and push the solenoid button. That's how I just did it, and it worked fine. Of course if you want to use the key it is a little more work... Jim H |
