Believe it or not, The TR6 carpets for the floor are secured with snaps. The
usual parts outlets (TRF, Vicky Brit, etc.) carry a special snap for these
which does not have a big chrome cap on the top side. Buy these and do it
right so that the next owner won't call you the DPO.
BTW the carpets that fit under the seats are kept in place by the seat tracks
(this is self evident but I thought I'd mention it).
