Ron,

Fuel Line pressure regulators are readily available, and they
aren't even very expensive.  I installed one on my TR-3
after I installed an electric fuel pump (my apologies to
purists).  The electric fuel pump seemed to want to 
pump past my floats and out the overflow onto
the exhaust manifold.  The regulator I bought just installed 
anywhere in the gas line.
