I had the same problem, and a MC rebuild kit solved the problem. It's been
about 4 years now with no leaks. As far as bore size, TRF should know which
one you need. The bore needs to be free of pits and imperfections, of
course.

I strongly suggest you also install a rebuild kit in the slave cylinder. If
your 20+ year old MC seals are failing, your slave cylinder seal won't be
far behind. Mine blew out suddenly about a year later on the Saturday of a
weekend at Road America. I had to drive to and from my hotel without a
clutch pedal. Warm up the engine, shut it off, select first gear, start
engine... Not the way to treat your lbc. I did get to see Mansell race,
though :-)

After the "sudden, catastrophic failure" of my slave cylinder seal, I
decided it was time to rebuild the brake calipers and rear wheel cylinders,
too (having already done the brake mc). When the clutch pedal goes to the
floor with no resistance it's only an inconvenience, but the brake pedal...

Happy motoring,
