I've thougt about other things like adjustable super traps. Last year in
Asheville I rode in Jeff Rust's nifty 69 TR-6 with supertraps. It was cool.
I'd like to hear some on a 4 cyl though.
Does anyone know anything about ABARTH (sp?) exhaust. I got a friend that
says they were "the muffler" for TR's in the 60's. Said they had a real
nice note. Is this company still around?
Since I've already got the ANSA rear muffler on there, I think I'll go with
Greg Meboe's suggestion of a generic glass pack upstream of the ANSA. Should
be realitively inexpensive too.
Another query for our panel: Has anyone ever had true dual exhuasts on a 4
cyl TR? I don't mean a "y" pipe after passing through the frame center
section. I mean will two pipes fit through that section? Secondly would the
resulting note be cruddy with only two cyls per muffler? (cyls 1&4 and 2&3
for each muffler respectively. That's the way the header splits them up
anyway)
I like the symetry of dual exhausts, but don't like quad tips. That just
looks like overkill to me.
