When switching to radials, it is a good idea to increase the caster setting=

Radials have a different =E2=80=98contact patch=E2=80=99 on the ground, and=
to make up for it and have decent caster, you should increase it. I used a=
bout 4.5 degrees on my Series 200 Griffith and steering stability is good.

That said, narrower (165) tires are more fun so comparing cross ply to fat =
radials are different in many ways.
