Joel
I believe the valve adjustment depends on which cam you =
have.
=20
Valve covers =E2=80=93 I can get the stock valve covers off with a bit =
of a fight.
=20
Oil filter =E2=80=93 I have the Motorsport right angle adaptor off the =
block and a Fram 3600 filter

Subject: [Tigers] Lifter adjustment
=20
I have 289 HP heads with screw in studs. What is the cold adjustment =
they should be - no roller rockers and torque settings for the heads.? =
Do you have to loosen the motor mounts to get the valve covers off, =
lower or raise? I would think lower to get the valve covers off. With =
5,000 miles since car has been redone, it is time for some sorting out. =
The first 5,000 miles required very little and has been a blast up to 60 =
mph and curves so far.
=20
I have changed the oil 2 times during the 5,000 miles and what a pain =
it is to replace the filter with the stock set up. If anyone could =
explain their process for oil filter change, that works 'easier' it =
would be greatly appreciated.
=20
Thanks
