Take off the latch panel for the bonnet covering the heater matrix in the s=
cuttle. The underside will have the original paint. And it won't be sun fad=
ed.

My car is supposed to be Midnight Blue, but was stripped and repainted red =
back in the mid '70's, so I don't have a spot where I can have the paint sh=

You probably got those numbers from me.
The problem is that at my paint shop those old numbers no longer translate =
to a paint mix.
Some paint shops may have those old paint codes and mixes available but mos=
t do not.
