Well sometimes, the seat material on the Schrader valve take a bit of a =
teensy set and needs to be tightened, not necessarily removed. So =
having one is handy. Me? I have one that is a cross shape with thread =
chaser for cap treads, a tapered extractor for removing a broken =
Schrader valve, a thread chaser for the Schrader threads internal to the =
stem and the one that unscrews the valve itself.=20

Probably a couple of bucks at Autozone or your fav parts place.=20

Nah, I think it is the Schrader valve that is in the wheel air system =
tool being sought. The tool you show might actually be used to tighten =
or remove that also. The one below is a fancy version. They come in =
all kinds of different forms. Even some valve stem caps have it built =
in. My Tiger tool kit did not come with one.=20

You must be talking about this: =

r-for-tool-kit/332984724770?hash=3Ditem4d876fad22:g:r9wAAOSwFSxZ~Mb5:rk:1=
:pf:0 as an item of the exact name is on Ebay now.

The term itself seems confounding. I can only think of two types of =
valves in a Tiger. The 16 valves in the engine and the heater control =
valve. Given the engine valve stem and head are one you would not be =
=E2=80=9Cextracting=E2=80=9D one from the other and surely not with =
plastic. I=E2=80=99ve never had the heater valve apart but from its =
appearance this device seems to have little or no purpose. Could it be =
that the word =E2=80=9Cvalve=E2=80=9D has an expanded British meaning? =
I know they often call vacuum tubes =E2=80=9Cvalves.=E2=80=9D Frankly =
it looks like a shaft for a radio knob..., or a tool for adjusting old =
style potentiometers , capacitors etc..
