Andy, The dashes on the URL you presented do look great, no question about it. And re-doing a dash IS a big deal that can require months. But, looking at dashes on the Prestige Autowood site, I didn't see any that include the factory hole filled with a chrome plug located To the left of the holes for blinker and hi-low beam lights, and then there are the questions of correct shade and grain. I realize that they are pricey, but they are very well done and look correct in the car. All you'll have to do is install it. I've got one in my car and it still looks new after 25 years. Evidently, redoing the original dashes must be difficult because you don't see too many of them done right; one can almost invariably tell that they were "homemade." From my way of thinking, if I'm going to have to be staring at that dash for years to come, I would want it right. > > http://www.prestigeautowood.com/ > > My .02 worth, > Andy Walker > Edmond, OK > B382001600LRXFE > TAC #740 _______________________________________________ tigers@autox.team.net Donate: http://www.team.net/donate.html Archive: http://www.team.net/archive Forums: http://www.team.net/forums Unsubscribe: http://autox.team.net/mailman/options/tigers/tigers-archive@autox.team.net |
