I have here a can of Rust-Oleum high heat paint purchased at a store that
sells wood stoves and cast iron BBQ grills. The instructions say it is good
to
1200 degrees.
The instructions are the same as normal Rust-Oleum paint...scrape or wire
brush away the loose rust and then paint. I've used it, but not on engine
parts and it seems to hold up pretty well. It's about $5-$6 for a 12oz can.
